Between approximately 18:49 UTC and 00:49 UTC (June 12, 2025), Knowby experienced service disruptions affecting user login, access to content, and organisation provisioning.

This was caused by a major outage in Google Cloud’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) system, which prevented token issuance and broke authentication workflows across multiple services globally, including Spotify, Discord, Cloudflare, and Knowby.

Our infrastructure relies on Google Cloud for secure identity handling, so the failure propagated to our users. Service was fully restored once Google resolved the IAM issue.
